Jessica Morales is the principal photographer at Bright & Gray Creative, boasting a lifelong passion for photography that ignited during her tenure as the yearbook photo editor in high school. Her journey evolved during her college years at Samford University, where, as a Journalism/Mass Communication major, she skillfully captured moments of friends and family for extra cash ◡̈

Entering the advertising industry, Jessica embarked on her photography side-gig, gradually crafting an extensive portfolio over the years. As her husband Jason's videography business flourished, their family expanded. Brighten Storie, born on September 22, 2016, in Houston, TX, marked a pivotal moment on Jason and Jessica's fourth wedding anniversary. The same day, they joyfully adopted Brighten, and their focus shifted from portfolio-building to family-building, welcoming their son, Grady Shores, just two years later.

After six years of successfully operating a digital marketing business, Jessica rediscovered her love for photography, initially as a value-add for clients at Bright & Gray Creative. What began as a client-centric offering has since blossomed into a thriving new facet of the business.

Jessica's expertise lies in lifestyle photography (including families, graduates, engagement, maternity, and newborn sessions), brand development photography (encompassing headshots, interiors, real estate, and industry-related imagery), and event photography (covering conferences, parties, university events, and more). Her commitment to capturing meaningful moments and telling compelling visual stories continues to drive the success of Bright & Gray Creative.

Here’s the thing, we have two kids, two dogs, own a business, and are constantly battling the #proofofmom or #proofofdad life. Most of the time, we feel awkward in front of the camera and when it comes time for family photos, we’re bribing (eh hm, incentivising) our kids with everything under the sun.

That’s why our photo sessions are full of laughs, often some dad jokes, and silly faces all in an effort to capture who you truly are. We want to put you at ease so that we can see the real you!

(We also may or may not keep mini marshmallows in our camera bag, and a little sugar is great for those “incentives”)
